Talking about Time in Draw and Stud Poker Games

Filed under: Gambling Luck, Games + Cheats, The Fun Universe @ 11:09 am

Everyone has a different pace that they like to play poker at. Some people are speed demons while others like to take their time. You need to figure out where you stand on the time scale before you pick your online poker game. The speed that you like to play makes a big difference about whether you should play draw poker varieties or stud games. Quite simply stud games are slow and draw games are fast. The different speeds of the casino varieties are based on their betting structure. You bet more in stud so it takes longer to finish the game. There is only one better round in draw so it is much faster. If you try to play stud quickly or draw slow you are just going to end up annoying your fellow players. No one likes the odd ball that refuses to play at the proper pace. Online players are particularly notorious for voicing their opinion when someone plays at the wrong pace. If you are going to play poker with any consistency, you would be better off sticking to the game style that goes with your preferred pace. You will end up much happier if you don’t feel like you need to conform to something you are not. Just do what you like in a gaming style that favors it.
